For the second year in a row, Banque Misr obtains the ISO 9001:2015 certificate in the field of legal quality management by TUV southwest, an international leader.
This certificate has been awarded to the legal sector of the Bank of Egypt for all its work carried out by all its units deployed internally in and outside the Arab Republic of Egypt after the donor verified and reviewed all internal policies and procedures of the units of the legal sector both inside the Arab Republic of Egypt and those located outside Egypt and is in line with internationally approved standards and principles in the global management systems.
Dr. Khaled Atris, Head of Legal Sector, Bank of Egypt, received the certificate. Thus, following receipt of the certificate, he confirmed that the Bank's legal sector obtained the prestigious certificate for the second year in a row, Confirmation of the Bank's success and effectiveness in managing its banking operations and services and a reflection of its leadership in managing its operations and providing banking services with the required efficiency and quality, To serve and protect the national economy and achieve financial and banking stability, while preserving depositors' funds and maximizing return on invested capital.
Banque Misr was established in 1920 by the pioneer economist Mohamed Talaat Harb Pasha, who came up with the concept of investing national saving and directing them towards economic and social development and thus Banque Misr became the first bank to be wholly owned by Egyptians.
