Nora Orkhan: A Career Built Across Business, Media and Impact

By Business Hub | Egypt | September 9, 2026

In a business landscape increasingly shaped by reputation, influence and cross-sector leadership, some careers stand out for the breadth of impact they create.

Nora Orkhan is an Egyptian executive leader, entrepreneur and marketing and communications strategist whose career spans more than 25 years across banking, fintech and the private sector. Her professional experience covers brand transformation, corporate communications, public relations, integrated marketing, business development, stakeholder engagement and media strategy, alongside an established presence as a television presenter, public speaker and community advocate.

Throughout that career, Orkhan has worked with some of Egypt’s best-known financial and technology organizations, including National Société Générale Bank, QNB Al Ahli, eFinance Group, eKhales, Areeba Egypt and EasyCash. The range of those roles has given her experience not only in building brands, but in managing how organizations communicate with customers, partners, media and wider stakeholder communities at different stages of growth.

A Cairo University graduate from the Faculty of Commerce, English Section, Orkhan developed her career at a time when marketing and corporate communications were becoming increasingly connected to wider business strategy. Her work evolved across corporate branding, strategic campaigns, media relations, sponsorship development and business growth, allowing her to build a perspective that combines commercial objectives with reputation and public positioning.

That combination has become one of the defining characteristics of her professional profile.

For Orkhan, marketing has rarely been limited to advertising or promotion. Much of her career has centered on the wider question of how an organization builds credibility: how it defines its identity, communicates its value, manages relationships and creates a consistent experience for the audiences around it.

Her years in banking and financial technology were particularly influential in shaping that outlook. In industries where trust and reputation can have a direct impact on customer behavior, communication becomes closely connected to commercial performance.

That experience eventually led Orkhan beyond executive positions inside established companies and into building businesses of her own.

Today, she is Co-Founder, Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer of DoLab Marcom, where she works with companies on integrated marketing, strategic communications, branding, public relations and event management. The business allows her to apply experience accumulated across multiple sectors to organizations looking to develop their positioning, strengthen their public presence and create more effective relationships with their audiences.

Entrepreneurship, however, has taken a number of different forms throughout her journey.

One of the clearest examples is KolHagty, which Orkhan founded as an integrated digital platform focused on women. The concept brings together access to trusted services, healthcare, education, entrepreneurship opportunities and professional networking, reflecting an interest in creating a platform around practical needs rather than a single commercial offering.

Through Norkhan, a brand centered on handmade craftsmanship, artistic expression and skills development, she has explored ways to support local creativity and talent. She is also a Co-Founder of Le Coin, which operates within hospitality and lifestyle, and was behind the introduction of a two-dimensional art café concept in Egypt, bringing together visual design, hospitality and customer experience.

These ventures may sit in different sectors, but they reveal a consistent approach to business. Orkhan tends to work around concepts where brand, experience and human connection are closely linked.

That understanding of audiences also became an important part of her media career.

Alongside her corporate and entrepreneurial work, Orkhan has established herself as a television presenter, keynote speaker, moderator and master of ceremonies. Her experience includes hosting television programs, moderating business forums and conferences, presenting public and corporate events and representing organizations across different media platforms.

The media dimension of her career is closely related to her work in communications. Being able to develop a strategy behind a message is one skill; delivering that message directly to an audience is another.

Years spent addressing different audiences have given her practical experience in both.

Whether communicating in front of a camera, managing a conference conversation or working with corporate stakeholders, the underlying requirement remains similar: understanding who is listening, what matters to them and how to communicate with clarity and credibility.

Beyond business and media, Orkhan has also built a substantial record of community involvement.

She previously served as President of Rotary Giza Horizon and continues her involvement with Rotary International, contributing to humanitarian and development initiatives connected to education, healthcare, youth empowerment and women’s advancement.

Her volunteer work has also extended over several years to the Egyptian Shooting Club, where she contributed through marketing and public relations responsibilities, sponsorship development and the organization of major sporting and community events.

Corporate environments often come with established hierarchies, structures and formal authority. Community initiatives operate differently. Progress frequently depends on the ability to build relationships, attract support and motivate people around a shared objective.

Moving between both environments has given Orkhan a career that combines commercial leadership with public and social engagement.

Seen in full, her professional journey is broader than a traditional marketing career.

It combines financial-services experience with strategic communications, executive management with entrepreneurship, and corporate leadership with media visibility and community service.

Those different elements have developed over more than two decades, but they increasingly operate as one professional identity.

For Orkhan, the value of experience appears to lie not only in the positions held, but in the ability to transfer what has been learned from one environment into another — applying corporate discipline to entrepreneurship, communications expertise to leadership, and public engagement to business strategy.

She is not working from within one professional category. Instead, she has built a platform across business, marketing, media and social impact, with each area informing the next.

And after more than 25 years in the market, Nora Orkhan’s story continues to evolve around the same central idea: building influence is not simply about being visible; it is about creating trust, developing meaningful connections and turning professional experience into value for businesses and communities alike.
