The Egyptian Cabinet approved the establishment of an Egyptian joint stock company called Global Blue Egypt, with the participation of Global Blue Public Limited and Global Blue Netherlands Private Limited, to implement the VAT refund system for foreign visitors to Egypt.
A statement from the Council of Ministers said that the approval of the establishment of this company comes within the framework of Egypt's Vision 2030, the digital transformation strategy of the Egyptian state, and efforts to promote tourism and foreign shopping.
