Ford Motor Company (F) reported U.S. sales increased 8.2% in the third quarter of 2025, totaling 545,522 vehicles compared to the same period last year. The automaker recorded seven consecutive months of sales growth across trucks, SUVs, and electrified vehicles.
The F-Series truck line sold 207,732 vehicles in the third quarter, up 4.7% from the previous year. Year-to-date F-Series sales reached 620,580 units, maintaining its position as the best-selling truck in America for what the company says will be 49 consecutive years.
Ford’s electrified vehicle sales, including hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and battery electric vehicles, totaled 85,789 units in the third quarter, representing a 19.8% increase. These vehicles accounted for 15.7% of Ford’s quarterly sales mix, up from 13.5% in the second quarter. Year-to-date electrified vehicle sales reached 242,298 units, up 16.5%.
The Expedition SUV recorded 21,844 sales in the third quarter, marking its best third-quarter performance in 20 years with a 47.4% increase. The Maverick compact truck achieved a third-quarter record with 34,848 sales, bringing year-to-date sales to 120,904 units, up 10.9%.
Ford Pro paid software subscriptions grew approximately 30% year-over-year to about 815,000 active subscriptions. The company’s BlueCruise hands-free highway driving system surpassed 7 million cumulative hours of use by the end of the third quarter.
Total pickup and van sales reached 313,654 units in the third quarter, up 7.4% from the previous year. The company’s mobile service fleet expanded to more than 4,200 units, completing over 950,000 remote service experiences in the third quarter alone.
