NatGas Wins Creation and Operation of Dry Gas Network

The National Gas Company (Natgas) has won a competition to build and operate a dry gas network in the third industrial city in Dammam, according to the Saudi Ministry of Energy.

The project aims to license the construction of a natural gas distribution network for factories within the city, which is home to 176 existing or under-construction factories, some of which will use dry gas as fuel for industrial furnaces and boilers.

The Ministry of Energy is working to expand the use of natural gas as an alternative to liquid fuels in other industrial cities in the Kingdom, as part of its program to shift away from liquid fuels and achieve economic and environmental benefits.
