Bitcoin rose during Monday's trading, surpassing the $17K mark, amid market speculation that the Fed will ease its monetary policy tightening at the December meeting.
Investors reassessed the Fed's commitment to its recent tight monetary policy, with expectations that it will raise rates by 50 basis points in December instead of 75 basis points.
Bitcoin rose 1.14% to $17,287.
Ethereum rose 3.03% to $1,297, and Ripple was up 0.31% at 39.19 cents.
