A 3% jump in BMW's stock following the announcement of integrating Chinese artificial intelligence into its cars.

The CEO of BMW, Oliver Zipse, announced that the German automotive company plans to start integrating AI technologies from DeepSeek into its new models for the Chinese market starting late this year.

Zipse stated during the Shanghai Auto Show on Wednesday: "We are witnessing significant developments in the field of artificial intelligence in China, and we are enhancing our partnerships to integrate new technologies into our locally-made models."

The company showcased at the exhibition the new operating system "BMW Panoramic iDrive," which includes new digital features specifically designed for the Chinese market, including a personal assistant powered by artificial intelligence.

In terms of trading, BMW's shares rose sharply during trading on Wednesday, trading at levels of 73.64 euros, marking an increase of 3%.
