Germany’s MTU Aero Engines raised its revenue forecasts for 2025 on Wednesday after achieving record-breaking revenues in the previous year.
The company expects its revenue for the current year to range between €8.7 billion and €8.9 billion, following an 18% increase in 2024, reaching €7.5 billion, the highest level ever recorded.
MTU also announced that its operating profit, after adjustments, surged by 28% to reach €1.05 billion ($1.09 billion) in 2024. This marks the first time the company’s profits have exceeded the €1 billion threshold, according to the German Press Agency (DPA).
Looking ahead, MTU expects its adjusted operating profit to grow by approximately 15% in 2025, reflecting continued business expansion and strong demand in the aviation sector.
