Futures contracts for U.S. stock indices – for March delivery – showed mixed performance ahead of the opening of the session on Wednesday, amid anticipation of the Federal Open Market Committee's decision later today, with widespread expectations that the Federal Reserve may keep the main interest rates at 4.50%.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures settled near the previous closing level at 45,031.00 points. Nasdaq 100 futures rose by about 0.40% to 21,673.00 points. S&P 500 futures recorded a slight increase of about 0.12%, reaching 6,104.25 points.
