Dubai-based forex and CFD brokerage GTCFX has expanded its senior management team with the appointment of Raechel Rose as Head of Compliance and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), reinforcing its focus on regulatory oversight, internal governance, and financial crime prevention.
Rose joins the company after serving as Compliance Manager at ATFX MENA for approximately one year, where she gained experience navigating the regulatory requirements of the financial services industry. Before joining ATFX, she spent three years at Equiti Group, working across compliance-related functions, including know-your-customer (KYC) procedures, client due diligence, regulatory monitoring, and anti-money laundering controls.
Her professional background provides experience in the compliance challenges faced by forex and CFD brokers, particularly in areas involving client verification, financial crime risk management, and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
The appointment forms part of a broader series of senior leadership changes at GTCFX. The brokerage recently welcomed Charbel Raffoul as Chief Executive Officer and Abdelrahman Al Ali as General Manager, introducing additional industry experience across its executive management structure.
In her new capacity, Rose will assume responsibilities related to compliance oversight and anti-money laundering reporting, areas that are increasingly important for financial institutions operating in regulated markets. Her experience across established brokerage firms is expected to support the company's ability to manage regulatory obligations and maintain effective internal compliance procedures.
The leadership changes come as forex and CFD providers continue to operate in an environment shaped by evolving regulatory expectations, enhanced customer verification requirements, and greater scrutiny of financial transactions. These developments have increased the importance of experienced compliance professionals who can help brokerage firms navigate regulatory responsibilities while maintaining operational standards.
With the addition of Rose to its management team, GTCFX continues to develop its compliance and governance capabilities as part of its broader leadership structure in the UAE's financial services sector.
