Mitrade Appoints Timur Konsky as CEO of Its European Business

Mitrade has appointed Timur Konsky as Chief Executive Officer of Mitrade EU Ltd, placing the experienced fintech executive in charge of the broker’s next phase of expansion across European retail trading markets.

The appointment represents a promotion for Konsky, who joined Mitrade earlier in 2026 as Chief Operating Officer of its Cyprus-based European entity. In his new position, he will oversee the development of Mitrade’s European operations, with Germany set to become an initial focus of the company’s regional expansion strategy.

Konsky brings more than two decades of experience across fintech, online brokerage, product development, marketing and executive leadership within regulated financial services companies.

Extensive Brokerage and Fintech Experience

Before joining Mitrade, Konsky held a number of senior positions across the online trading industry.

His previous roles include Head of Marketing at ActivTrades, Chief Marketing Officer at HYCM and Head of Marketing at TopFX. Earlier in his career, he also held senior marketing positions at FxPro and AFX Capital.

This background has provided him with experience across marketing, product positioning, client acquisition and brokerage operations in several European markets.

Konsky’s move from COO to CEO also comes after his involvement in developing Mitrade EU’s operational and payment infrastructure. Earlier this year, the company worked on improving its European payment capabilities, including instant SEPA deposits and real-time payouts.

Leading Mitrade’s European Expansion

As CEO of Mitrade EU, Konsky will focus on adapting the company’s offering to the different requirements and trading behaviors of European clients.

Rather than approaching Europe as a single retail market, Mitrade plans to use client feedback across areas including onboarding, pricing, platform experience, risk-management tools and customer support to develop more localized services.

Germany will initially serve as a key market for this strategy before the company considers further expansion across Europe.

Konsky has emphasized the importance of maintaining direct communication between traders and the teams responsible for developing Mitrade’s products, particularly as expectations around trading platforms, pricing and customer service differ significantly between European markets.

Appointment Comes Amid Strong Group Growth

The leadership change comes during a period of significant growth for the wider Mitrade Group.

During the first seven months of 2026, Mitrade reported that its number of active trading clients increased by more than 50% year-on-year, while total lots traded rose 148.4% compared with the same period in 2025. The figures relate to the international group rather than Mitrade EU specifically.

Mitrade says its global brand currently connects more than seven million traders and provides access to over 1,000 CFDs across asset classes including forex, indices, commodities, shares and ETFs.

The appointment of Konsky places an executive with extensive brokerage and fintech experience at the head of the company’s European operations at a time when Mitrade is looking to translate its wider international growth into a stronger position within Europe.

As CEO of Mitrade EU Ltd, Konsky will now play a central role in shaping the company’s regional strategy, strengthening its operating model and guiding its expansion into key European retail trading markets.
