Convera, a global provider of commercial payment solutions, has announced four senior leadership appointments as part of its strategy to strengthen its international payments platform and expand its foreign exchange and multi-currency services.
The company has appointed Mike Cahill as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Jon Southall as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Tui Allen as Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer, and Chris Steinig as Chief Information Officer.
The appointments are intended to accelerate Convera's development of an integrated global money movement platform, bringing together cross-border payments, foreign exchange risk management and multi-currency capabilities for businesses operating internationally.
Mike Cahill, who joined Convera in June 2026 as Interim Chief Product and Technology Officer, will oversee the company's combined product, technology and operations organization. His previous experience includes leadership roles at Early Warning Services, PayPal, Boku and American Express.
Jon Southall joins from PayPal, where he managed the Large Enterprise Platform, supporting more than $1.5 trillion in annual transaction volume. He previously held technology-related responsibilities at Boku and Braintree, bringing experience in large-scale payment infrastructure.
Tui Allen joins from Ticketmaster and Live Nation, where she contributed to modernizing digital product experiences. She previously worked at Shopify and will focus on simplifying and expanding Convera's payment products.
Chris Steinig, a company veteran with 25 years of experience, will serve as Chief Information Officer, overseeing enterprise technology, infrastructure modernization and operational resilience.
Convera Group CEO Patrick Gauthier said the appointments will support the company's ambition to deliver faster, more transparent and better-connected international payment services.
The leadership changes come as businesses increasingly seek integrated financial solutions that allow them to send, receive and hold multiple currencies while managing foreign exchange exposure and international transaction costs.
Through its expanded leadership team, Convera aims to strengthen its technology capabilities, improve operational efficiency and support the continued development of its global payments infrastructure.
