Online trading company AvaTrade has strengthened its executive leadership team with the appointment of Jeremy Schlachter as Chief Financial Officer, bringing extensive experience in financial management, fintech and technology businesses.
Schlachter joins the company following his tenure as CFO of NAGA Group, where he held a senior financial leadership role at the listed fintech company and online brokerage group.
His appointment brings a broad range of financial and corporate experience to AvaTrade. Prior to NAGA, Schlachter served as Group CFO at Finalto, a financial trading and technology business that was previously part of Playtech.
He also spent approximately 12 years at Playtech, holding several senior finance positions including Vice President of Finance. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Financial Officer of technology company Skywind Group.
Schlachter succeeds Sari Hemmendinger as AvaTrade's CFO and joins the company as it continues to develop its international business and pursue further growth across its global operations.
Commenting on his new position, Schlachter expressed enthusiasm about joining AvaTrade and contributing to the company's continued development alongside its management team.
The appointment highlights AvaTrade's focus on strengthening its senior leadership with executives who have experience spanning financial services, technology and international operations.
Schlachter's background across NAGA, Finalto and Playtech provides him with experience in financial management within technology-driven and regulated businesses, which is expected to support AvaTrade as it continues its next phase of development.
