Citadel Securities and Wolfe Research have entered into a strategic joint venture aimed at expanding services for institutional investors across research, trading and market execution.
Under the agreement, clients of Wolfe Research will gain access to Citadel Securities’ execution capabilities, liquidity and market pricing, while Citadel Securities clients will be able to access Wolfe’s equity research and broader market analysis.
The arrangement is intended to combine the strengths of both firms and create a more integrated institutional offering covering investment research and trade execution.
Citadel Securities has also taken a minority stake in Wolfe Research as part of the transaction, highlighting the long-term nature of the partnership.
The deal brings together a major global market-making and trading firm with an independent research provider known for its coverage of equities, macro themes and quantitative strategies.
By combining these capabilities, the two companies are targeting institutional investors seeking access to both high-quality research and efficient execution services.
The partnership comes as financial institutions continue to expand integrated solutions for professional investors, particularly in areas where research, liquidity, data and execution increasingly overlap.
For both firms, the venture provides an opportunity to broaden their institutional reach while strengthening client relationships across the global capital markets sector.
