CMC Markets has introduced a new ChatGPT integration that allows UK CFD clients to interact with their account and market information through conversational prompts.
The new feature enables eligible users to connect their CMC Markets CFD account to ChatGPT and request information such as account balances, margin levels, open positions, exposure and unrealised profit or loss. Clients can also search markets and product information, as well as access real-time or delayed prices, historical data and candlestick charts. CMC Markets says the UK is the first market to receive the service, with additional regions planned.
The integration is currently read-only, meaning users cannot place, modify or cancel trades, or transfer funds through ChatGPT. Any trading actions must still be completed through CMC Markets’ own platforms.
The launch reflects CMC Markets’ broader investment in artificial intelligence and financial technology, as brokers increasingly explore conversational AI as a new way for clients to access trading and portfolio information.
CMC Markets operates across online trading and financial services, including CFDs, forex, indices, commodities and other market products. The company is publicly listed and headquartered in London.
