Matrixdock Launches Tokenized Gold XAUm on Circle’s Arc Network

Matrixdock has launched its tokenized gold asset, Matrixdock Gold (XAUm), on Arc, Circle’s Layer-1 blockchain built for financial markets and on-chain economic activity.

According to Matrixdock, the deployment makes XAUm the first tokenized gold asset available on Arc and expands the platform’s push to connect traditional reserve assets with blockchain-based financial infrastructure.

Each XAUm token represents one troy ounce of 99.99% pure gold sourced from LBMA Good Delivery refineries. The underlying gold is held in allocated form at professional vaulting facilities operated by Brink’s and Malca-Amit in Hong Kong and Singapore.

The new integration also introduces same-day access to USDC proceeds for eligible XAUm redemption flows once the required transaction evidence has been submitted. The process does not change the underlying physical gold custody, sale or settlement procedures.

XAUm/USDC liquidity is also available through Uniswap on Arc, allowing users to exchange tokenized gold and USDC directly on-chain.

The deployment is part of Matrixdock’s wider strategy to expand the use of real-world assets across blockchain-based trading, settlement, lending and collateral markets.

Arc officially launched its public mainnet on September 16, bringing together more than 100 institutional and ecosystem participants as Circle expands its infrastructure for stablecoins, tokenized assets and digital financial markets.
