Banque du Caire has announced the appointment of Hisham Abdel Aal as the new Deputy Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant addition to the bank's leadership team. He assumes this role following a distinguished career in the banking sector.
Prior to joining Banque du Caire, Abdel Aal served as Vice Chairman of aiBANK “Next Bank,” where he played a key role in shaping the bank’s strategic direction and enhancing its services.
With extensive experience in the banking industry, Hisham Abdel Aal previously held the position of Deputy Head of Corporate Banking Services at the Arab African International Bank (AAIB) since October 2005. He also served as Assistant Managing Director at Arab Investment Bank from September 2016 and was a board member of Zahraa Maadi Investment and Development Company.
Earlier in his career, Abdel Aal led corporate banking at the Arab Bank from 1997 to 2005, and worked as Corporate Banking Relationship Manager at National Bank of Abu Dhabi from 1992 to 1997.
Through this appointment, Banque du Caire aims to strengthen its competitive edge in the banking sector by leveraging Hisham Abdel Aal’s extensive expertise and leadership experience.
