Official data released on Sunday showed that China's foreign exchange reserves reached $3.2224 trillion at the end of June this year.
According to the data, China has the largest foreign exchange reserves in the world.
China's foreign exchange reserves increased by 0.9% compared to around $3.193 trillion at the end of June 2023.
The Chinese economy grew at a faster than expected pace of 5.3% year-on-year in the first quarter, but deflationary pressures remain significant and the prolonged real estate crisis continues to be a major obstacle to growth.
