Major General Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai, and Alaa Farouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt, inaugurated the latest branch of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt in Sharm El Sheikh, and the bank's office at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport, within the framework of the bank's keenness to expand its network of branches and provide all its banking and financing services according to the highest quality standards and the latest banking systems to meet the needs of its customers of various segments.
The opening ceremony was attended by Sherif Laqman, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt for Financial Inclusion, Engineer Abdussalam Jabali, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Sami Abdul Sadik, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, General General Secretary of the Governof South Sinai Province.
Following the opening, General Khaled Fouda confirmed that the opening of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank for its new branch and airport office in Sharm el-Sheikh is in keeping with the celebrations of South Sinai Governorate on its national day, which includes the opening of a number of important projects that serve a broad sector of the governorate to continue the development efforts witnessed in South Sinai.
The Governor appreciated the constructive cooperation efforts between the Governorate and the Bank to support the development efforts in Sinai and maximize the Governorate's capabilities in attracting investment in all areas, as well as the Bank's role in providing financing for small and microenterprises that serve a broad section of the Governorate to provide jobs and improve the standard of living especially for young people and women.
