The UAE, Bahrain, Egypt and Jordan have agreed to establish 9 joint industrial projects worth more than $2 billion in agriculture, medicines, metals, chemicals and electric cars.
The agreements came on the sidelines of the third meeting of the "High Committee for Integrated Industrial Partnership for Sustainable Economic Development", which included the four countries and was hosted by the Jordanian capital, Amman, on Sunday.
Joint ventures agreed upon in terms of value topped the agreement to establish UAE company M Glory with the establishment of 3 $ 550 million electric vehicle plants in the UAE, Egypt and Jordan.
The plant aims to produce 40 thousand cars in 3 years.
Soda Chemical Industries Egypt has also agreed to invest $500 million to produce sodium carbonate, the main raw material in the glass and detergent industry, for sale to Emirates Flat Glass Panels owned by Dubai for UAE investment.
Other projects included a project by UAE CFC Fodder and Chemicals to establish an industrial fodder and chemical complex in Egypt with investments of $400 million.

The Middle East news agency said the projects agreed to "contribute to increasing domestic production in partnership countries by more than $ 1.6 billion, creating about 13 thousand jobs."
