Bitcoin fell to $20.7 thousand in early Sunday trading, jumping 5.58%, to $21.044 thousand by the end of Saturday trading, the highest it had achieved since November 2022.
The cryptocurrency Ethereum climbed by 0.77% to $ 1358 thousand, after posting a significant rise in the start of today's trading of 7% to $ 1552, according to CoinMarketCap.
Cryptocurrency gains, by the end of last week's trading, came with changing investor sentiment, reflected in higher prices for technology companies and other high-risk assets.
Bitcoin posted its worst performance of the year at $ 16.496 on January 1.
The cryptocurrency market has fallen to significant lows over the past months, amid investors abandoning high-risk assets in the face of high inflation, and fears that central banks' rate hikes will hinder growth.
