Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, issued a decision to appoint Dr. Ahmed Jalal as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Bank for Export Development (EBANK), and to appoint Mohamed Abu Al Saud as Vice Chairman for 3 years.
Jalal was Vice Chairman of the Egyptian Export Development Bank in August 2017. He was the Head of Corporate Finance and Small and Medium Enterprises at ABK between 2009 and 2017. He was the Managing Director of Berrios Financial Leasing Company, co-founded between 2006 and 2009, and Director of Strategic Planning at the Egyptian Mobile Services Company "Mobinil" between 2005 and 2006.
Ahmed Jalal has more than 29 years of experience in banking, financial leasing, credit, investment banks and strategic plans.
For the beginnings of "Jalal", he received a doctorate in strategic management in 2015 from the Arab Academy of Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, a master's degree in business administration in 1995 from the University of Maastricht, Netherlands, and a bachelor's degree in 1992 from the University of Cairo.
