Egyptian Finance Minister: We hope to obtain the first tranche of the IMF loan worth $ 750 million this month

Egypt's Finance Minister Mohamed Maait said his country hopes to receive the first tranche of a $750 million International Monetary Fund loan this month.

In October, the governor of the Central Bank of Egypt, Hassan Abdullah, announced that he had reached an agreement with the International Monetary Fund on a $3 billion loan over 46 months.

The minister also expects the IPO program to resume before March in several sectors, including banks and petroleum.
