Neex has promoted Mohamed Abushamat to Head of the MENA Region, marking a significant step in his career with the global forex and CFD broker and strengthening the company’s regional leadership across the Middle East and North Africa.
Abushamat is based in Dubai and has been part of Neex’s regional operations, according to his LinkedIn profile. His promotion places him in a broader leadership role focused on supporting the broker’s commercial development and presence across MENA markets.
Abushamat has been actively involved in Neex’s MENA commercial activities. Earlier in 2026, he announced that he had been named the company’s January Sales Star, highlighting his performance across sales, client follow-ups and business development.
The move to Head of MENA Region represents an expansion of his responsibilities, with the new position expected to include regional growth, team development, client and partner relationships, and commercial strategy across key Middle Eastern and North African markets.
His appointment comes as Neex continues building its presence across several international regions. The company describes itself as an online CFD broker offering access to forex, indices, commodities and other markets, with operations spanning the Middle East, Europe, APAC and the Pacific.
The MENA region has become an increasingly important part of Neex’s international strategy.
In the UAE, Neex Securities LLC holds a Category 5 licence from the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) covering introducing and promotional activities, providing the group with a regulated presence in one of the region’s major financial hubs.
Neex also operates through regulated entities in markets including South Africa and Mauritius. Neex (Pty) Ltd is authorised by South Africa’s Financial Sector Conduct Authority, while Neex International Limited is regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius.
Abushamat’s promotion to Head of MENA Region strengthens Neex’s regional management structure as the broker continues developing its client base, partnerships and commercial activities across the Middle East and North Africa.
