Polygon Labs Names Manuel Echanove Puig as Global Head of Sales

Polygon Labs has appointed Manuel Echanove Puig as Global Head of Sales, marking a new leadership step for the executive after several years with the blockchain infrastructure company.

Echanove announced the move through his LinkedIn profile, describing it as the latest chapter of his career at Polygon Labs. The appointment expands his responsibilities as the company continues developing its commercial strategy around blockchain infrastructure, payments, stablecoins and real-world assets.

He originally joined Polygon in 2022 after spending more than five years at Google, moving into the company’s Enterprise team to support operations and go-to-market activities.

Before taking on the Global Head of Sales position, Echanove was involved in Polygon Labs’ work across payments, stablecoins and real-world assets (RWAs).

Recent industry appearances have identified him as a senior executive responsible for these areas, representing Polygon Labs in discussions around blockchain-based financial infrastructure and tokenization.

His work has also coincided with Polygon’s growing focus on payments and stablecoins. The blockchain network has recently supported initiatives involving major global companies, including Meta’s stablecoin payout program, which uses Polygon infrastructure for USDC payments to creators.

As Global Head of Sales, Echanove is expected to take a broader role in developing Polygon Labs’ commercial relationships and supporting adoption of its technology among companies, financial institutions and other organizations exploring blockchain-based products.

The appointment comes as Polygon Labs increasingly positions its ecosystem as infrastructure for payments, stablecoins and other on-chain financial applications.

The company has also been developing its Open Money Stack, designed to enable businesses to accept deposits, transfer stablecoins and connect digital assets with traditional banking and cash infrastructure through a unified system.

Echanove’s move to Global Head of Sales represents further progression within Polygon Labs and places him in a key commercial leadership position as the company looks to expand institutional and enterprise adoption of its blockchain infrastructure worldwide.
