The market capitalization of cryptocurrencies exceeds one trillion dollars. Bitcoin trades above $22,000.

The global market capitalization of cryptocurrencies rose during Monday's trading, as Bitcoin continued to climb on the back of a weaker dollar as inflation data in the United States awaited release.

Bitcoin rose 2.55% at $22,180.61, at 11:47 a.m. Mecca time, according to CoinPass data.

Binance rose 0.99% to $297.16, Ripple climbed to 36 cents, while Ethereum fell 0.57% to $1753.16.

The global market capitalization of cryptocurrencies over the past twenty-four hours has risen 1.26 percent to $1.07 trillion, according to CoinMarketCap data.

The White House has also warned that cryptocurrency mining threatens to hamper President Joe Biden's administration's efforts on climate goals, potentially prompting it to take action to mitigate pollution from mining.

On the other hand, Amber Group has cut cryptocurrencies by about 10% of its employees this year, after the recent cryptocurrency market crash and amid concerns about the future of digital assets.
