Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.65%

 Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Utilities, Materials and Capital Goods sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.65% to hit a new 1-month low.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291), which rose 6.51% or 14.00 points to trade at 229.00 at the close. Retal Urban Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4322) added 6.45% or 1.00 points to end at 16.50 and Jadwa REIT Saudi Fund (TADAWUL:4342) was up 5.80% or 0.60 points to 10.94 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Saudi Chemical Company (TADAWUL:2230), which fell 4.95% or 0.50 points to trade at 9.60 in late trade. Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:4050) declined 4.77% or 3.60 points to end at 71.80 and Batic Investments and Logistics Co (TADAWUL:4110) down 3.90% or 0.14 points to 3.45.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 205 to 108 and 20 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

Shares in National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291) rose to all time highs; up 6.51% or 14.00 to 229.00. Shares in Retal Urban Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4322) rose to all time highs; rising 6.45% or 1.00 to 16.50.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.18% or 0.13 to $71.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.15% or 0.11 to hit $74.52 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.11% or 30.45 to trade at $2,706.75 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.64% to 3.94, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.57% at 106.89.
