The Commercial International Bank (CIB) announced today, in a statement to the Egyptian Stock Exchange, that the Central Bank of Egypt and regulatory authorities have approved several changes to the composition of its Board of Directors.
As part of these changes, Nevine Sabour has been appointed as the independent non-executive Chairperson, marking a historic milestone as the first woman to hold this position at the bank.
Additionally, CIB has appointed Hisham Ezz Al-Arab as the CEO and Board Member, while Amr El-Ganainy joins the board as an Executive Member in his new role as Deputy CEO.
Furthermore, Islam Zakry has been appointed as an Executive Board Member in his capacity as Group CFO, and Tony Prestedge will join the board as an Executive Advisor.
