U.S. President Donald Trump said Wednesday he will discuss Nvidia’s advanced Blackwell artificial intelligence chip with Chinese President Xi Jinping during their expected meeting Thursday.
Speaking to reporters on Air Force One while traveling to Gyeongju, South Korea, Trump referred to Nvidia’s Blackwell as the "super-duper chip" and indicated the topic would likely come up during his talks with Xi.
"I think we may be talking about that with President Xi," Trump said. He added that he was "very optimistic" about the upcoming meeting, which will be their first since Trump returned to the White House.
